Shipping (Delivery) Policies

Free Shipping! For customers living in the 48 contiguous United States, all prices on this website include the cost of freight (curbside delivery to your address).

For customers living outside the 48 contiguous states, delivery arrangements will be made upon order receipt, for an additional fee. (Contact us for details)

Items under 150lbs are generally shipped via FedEx ground.

Fireplaces and other large items are shipped via common carrier - curbside delivery to your address. For common carrier deliveries, Customer must have an able-bodied and competent adult to help in the unloading and inspection of product cartons for damage.

Important Information Regarding Shipments by Common Carrier -
The common carrier will call to schedule a delivery time with the customer prior to delivery. The customer must respond and schedule a delivery time within 3 business days of first notification for delivery or storage fees of $40. per day will be charged to the customers credit card.

In the event that an order is returned to Recreational Warehouse for any reason (without a proper RGA#), the customers credit card will be charged the cost of return freight, any storage fees, and a 30% restocking fee.

Please inspect shipment at time of delivery - in the event that you receive damaged product, please make note on carrier's bill of lading, immediately file a freight claim with the carrier (keep a copy of both of the bill of lading and the freight claim) and call the Recreational Warehouse customer service department at 1-800-692-1436 as soon as possible so that we can help you get your product replaced. 


Please note: Customer is responsible for selecting the correct fuel type for their purchase, if applicable. In the event customer purchases natural gas when propane is needed, or vice versa, customer will be responsible for delivery fees both for the return of the incorrect product and delivery of the correct product in it's place.

If applicable, please double-check if your installation requires natural gas or propane prior to placing your order. For assistance, please contact one of our experts.

 

Items Marked as 'Special Order'

Any items marked as a 'special order' are products that we do not generally stock - these items must be ordered from the manufacturer before they can be shipped to you. Once a special order item has been shipped from the manufacturer it CANNOT be canceled. Special order times vary but are usually 3-4 weeks until we receive them and they are ready to ship out to the customer. For exact shipping times please contact our customer service department.


Order Cancellations

In the event that an order has to be cancelled you must contact our customer service department as soon as possible as well as send an email request for cancellation. If the order that is being cancelled has already been shipped - the customers credit card will be charged the cost of return freight, any storage fees, and a 30% restocking fee.

 

Return Policies

No returns after 30 days. Only unopened, unused and uninstalled merchandise may be returned.

There will be a 30% restocking fee assessed on all returned merchandise.

Customer is responsible for sending unopened merchandise back - freight prepaid by customer.

A prior returned goods authorization number (RGA#) is required from Recreational Warehouse. No returns will be accepted without an RGA # on the shipping label - DO NOT write it on the boxes.

In the event that an order is returned to Recreational Warehouse for any reason (without a proper RGA#), the customers credit card will be charged the cost of return freight, any storage fees, and a 30% restocking fee.

We DO NOT accept returns via United Stated Postal Service (USPS) - any return sent back by United States Postal Service (USPS)will automatically be assessed a 30% restocking fee.

*All returns must be sent back either by UPS or FedEX*

Defective Products

If you have received a defective item, please contact customer service at 1-800-692-1436 as soon as possible. We will work with you and the manufacturer as per the manufacturer's warranty to replace or repair that item as quickly as possible. We may need the defective item returned to us for repair or replacement.

If you are not certain whether or not the product you wish to purchase will work for you, we STRONGLY recommend that you contact either the manufacturer or our customer service department for advice and guidance. It is the buyers responsibility to determine the suitability of the products ordered for the intended purpose. Doing so can help avoid costly and unnecessary expense.

All products are warrantied by their respective manufacturer. There are no other warranties expressed or implied by Recreational Warehouse.
