I had my Monessen ventless gas logs installed. I put the Rock Wool in place over the burner, but do not know what to do with all of the Lava Rock? 
Do I cover the Rock Wool or all around it? Please provide  me information, I have the model TPB24 that I bought through you folks a couple of weeks ago. 

The embers (lava rock) are placed on the base of the fireplace around the grate and are for decorative purposes only. The wool is broken up into dime size pieces and is placed on the burner and will glow.The pieces of rock wool need to be small or they will not be effective and allow the gas to ignite and glow.
